You may convince yourself that it's not smart to spend money on something that makes you feel good today, even if you can afford it. However, there's no reason to let your fears get in the way of your happiness. Even if your finances are a little tight, treating yourself well now is an investment that still might be worthwhile. You don't have a license to waste what you've earned. However, you probably deserve more pleasure than you're willing to admit.
